Who We Are

Positive Psychology's Focus

Our positive psychology focus helps with anxiety and depression. Individuals heal, energize, and become aware of inner strengths. We achieve this by providing dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to focus on positive experiences and positive states. Help with body-focused repetitive behaviors is our specialty.

My Promise to You

My name is Dr. Mary Travis, and I’m happy to welcome you to this website. Psychology is a science, but I will see you as a whole human being. I won't judge you or suggest you need fixing just because of your anxiety or a body-focused repetitive behavior. Together we will decide how to overcome obstacles one step at a time. We will always look at what's working before we address challenges.

Our Services

Depression and Anxiety

Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions we experience at points in our lives. Body-focused repetitive behaviors exacerbate unease and sadness. Psychology, counseling, and treatment will help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.

Repetitive Behaviors

Body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) involve self-grooming gone awry. Trichotillomania (compulsive hair-pulling) and excoriation are the most common. Most people engage in these behaviors to a degree. If the anxiety accompanying the behaviors begins to feel out of control or the behavior causes physical damage and begins to significantly impact one's life, psychology, counseling, and treatment are available here.
